Hey guys, welcome to space tourist, and today we're going to be making bristlebots. So just know you don't need all of these materials. Some of them are just for design purposes, kind of like the pipe cleaners. That's just for decoration, so don't worry about that part, mostly. But over here, I do have pipe cleaners included. I just coiled it up because I thought it was fun. Um, again, no sweat if you don't have these resources. So in this video, I'm just gonna dump everything out, as you're gonna see here, because it was kind of ineffective. But you obviously need a toothbrush, right? It can be an old one. It can be a cheap one. Just snap up the head. It can be used if you want, but make sure it's your own. So have a toothbrush head. And this is a motor. It's a coin motor. It does have a sticky backing. Make sure you do have a sticky backing. And it does have wires. Wires just make everything so much easier. And yeah, again, emphasis on that sticky backing. If you don't have it, you can glue it, but again, it just makes things easier. I have googly eyes here. I lost the other one, but you don't need googly eyes. Again, esthetic purposes. It's just to make things a bit more fun, but no pressure. That's the whole point of this. And I have a coin battery here. You know what? Upon reflection, get a coin battery with wires. It just it's going to make it easier, trust me, coin battery with wires. And that's the other side. So the first thing you want to do is strip your wires. This is for the motor. And if you have a battery with wires, do do it for that two stripping wires just makes everything so much easier because the outer part of the wires, it's non conductive. I used my or my dad used his nails. Mine are too short, and we just pinched and twisted it and pulled it out, but you might need a sharp surface, so it's easier for you, but just don't break the wires. So now what you're going to do is you're going to take your toothbrush head and you're going to take that motor, you're going to peel off the back. And it takes me a while to do that, because I don't know I was filming this in a weird way, but peel off the back and put it right on your toothbrush head. And I would recommend making sure to put it towards the end so that it's balanced weight wise. And, yeah, just stick it on there and make sure it's there. Real good. You don't want it slipping off. And that's basically you're more than halfway done there. The next thing you're going to do is you're going to take your battery and you're going to stick it near the front, and if you have this simple coin battery, make sure your red wire goes on the bottom, your blue wire goes on the side and rearranging the wires, it can be tricky at first, since it's so small, just rearrange it to make sure that your motor is vibrating and it's gonna work. Trust me, it just may take some time. And yeah, that's basically it. This is the end result. You can see, I taped my battery there, and I also taped the wires in there. And it's it's just really fun. I added my googly eyes. You can add anything you want, make it your own. And thank you so much for watching. And have a good day.
